Marketing AI Product Specialist Intern, Prospect End-to-End Journey, Amazon Global Selling
Shanghai, ChinaFull-timePosted Jul 24, 2026
Amazon Global Selling is on a mission to help businesses of all sizes start locally and grow globally. We help local businesses directly reach new customers around the globe across Amazon's 21 overseas marketplaces. Today, more than 50% of Amazon's total sales come from third-party Sellers — and our team plays a critical role in driving that growth.
We are seeking a curious, builder-minded intern who thrives at the intersection of product marketing, applied AI, and compliance. You're excited by ambiguity, comfortable turning complex rules into simple Seller experiences, and eager to use AI to solve real problems at scale. You bring strong communication skills, a bias for action, and genuine customer obsession — you want to make compliance feel less like a hurdle and more like a guided path. If you're energized by building tools and journeys that help thousands of Sellers grow globally, we'd love to meet you.
Key job responsibilities
Own the product vision and roadmap for the prospect end-to-end journey — designing and building tools and experiences that guide prospects from initial awareness to global selling readiness and registration.
Define product requirements by translating prospect pain points, behavioral data, and market insights into actionable feature specs (e.g., personalized site exploration, drive Global by default, cost simulators, readiness checklists, guided learning paths). Partner with engineering to ship iteratively, balancing MVP speed with scalable architecture across official site and Mini App.
Build and maintain measurement frameworks — including journey funnels, engagement metrics, and conversion dashboards — to evaluate feature impact and prioritize the backlog.
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree or higher program in Marketing, Business, E-commerce, or equivalent field; graduating between December 2026 and August 2027
- Fluent in Mandarin (speak, write, and read); proficient in English (written and spoken) with the ability to work in an English-language environment
- Basic understanding of marketing fundamentals — including campaign planning, funnel concepts, and consumer/customer insight; able to gather and interpret insights through methods such as surveys, interviews, or behavioral data
- Genuine interest in AI tools (e.g., LLMs, generative AI, automation agents) with some hands-on experience applying them to coursework, personal projects, or internship tasks
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate findings into clear recommendations
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and proactively follow through on tasks
- Fast learner with high learning agility — self-driven to explore new topics, tools, and domains independently
- Able to work 4–5 days per week for at least 6 months, physically in Shanghai
- Familiarity with go-to-market (GTM) strategy or product marketing concepts gained through coursework or hands-on experience
- Experience working with CN local social channels (WeChat, WeCom, Mini App) in a marketing or content context
- Familiarity with AI-powered marketing tools or personalization platforms (e.g., content generation, behavioral targeting, recommendation systems)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in ambiguous situations
Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers. If you have a disability and need a workplace accommodation or adjustment during the application and hiring process, including support for the interview or onboarding process, please visit https://amazon.jobs/content/en/how-we-hire/accommodations for more information.
