This role supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in operating variety of machines to manufacture parts or products. Come be a part of an exciting journey at Daikin Applied, where innovation and excellence drive our every endeavor!Location: Faribault, MNShift: Monday-Thursday 2nd shift + OvertimeWhat you will do: Monitors production activities to eliminate delays and ensure adherence to production and shipping schedulesAssists in carrying out production objectives at the lowest cost, consistent with the organization's quality requirementsAssures safety and product quality while improving production proceduresCoordinates work flow with the various departments involvedReports damaged and defective equipment to managementTrains other employees in day to day proceduresMaintains quality/quantity standards regarding outputAnalyzes work orders to estimate worker hours and create machining schedules that meet both internal and external needsInterprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers, and assigns dutiesPlans flow of materials through department according to work ordersInterfaces with others in the organization to ensure customer deadlines are metInspects and measures parts and products to verify conformance to specificationsDirects workers in adjusting machines and equipment to repair products that fail to meet standardsEstablishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedulesDevelops, recommends, and implements measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of productSuggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crewAnalyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems.Maintains time and production recordsAssists with capital equipment justifications for machine tools and process technology to improve quality, cost, and cycle timesOther duties as assignedWhat’s in it for you: The ability to make an impact and shape your career with a company that is passionate about growthThe support of an organization that believes it is vital to include and engage diverse people, perspectives, and ideas to achieve our bestMinimum Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent5+ years of related experienceWork visa sponsorship is not available for this positionPreferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in related field3+ years of direct supervisory experienceBenefits: Daikin Applied offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: Multiple medical insurance plan options + dental and vision insurance 401K retirement plan with employer match Paid time off and company paid holidays Paid sick time in accordance with the federal, state and local law Tuition Reimbursement after 6 months of continuous service The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $66,000 - $108,800 in MN. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls.
