Job Description:

We are looking for a Sales Specialist in Central and Eastern Visayas who will be responsible for the Sales of all Hitachi Energy Products and Services (High Voltage, Transformers, Grid Integration, Grid Automation, and Service) in accordance with Business Unit strategy and will report to the Head of Sales in Philippines.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • You will be responsible for the sales of products and services within the electrical utility, power generation, renewable energy, and industrial markets in Central and Eastern Visayas, in accordance with business strategy, building long-term customer relationships and managing resolution of specific customer needs and issues.
  • You will identify and develop sales opportunities, ensure a positive customer experience throughout the sales process, and support customer homologation and accreditation activities.
  • You will prepare sales plans using company tools, including Salesforce.com, create added value for customers and Hitachi Energy, and ensure successful outcomes for transactions, contracts, and proposals through effective sales and account management techniques.
  • You will drive market development activities, strengthen customer engagement, identify new business opportunities within the designated territory, and collaborate across business units to maximize growth opportunities.
  • You will prepare offers in coordination with the bid and proposal team and/or Market Manager and ensure appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers, including pricing and commercial terms.
  • You will provide technical and commercial support to customers, leveraging your understanding of high voltage and power infrastructure solutions to position Hitachi Energy's value proposition effectively.
  • You will ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:

  • You hold a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in technical sales, business development, or account management within the power, energy, transmission, distribution, transformer, or high-voltage industries.
  • Demonstrated experience selling or supporting high-voltage products, transformers, substation solutions, grid infrastructure, or related electrical equipment. Familiarity with Hitachi Energy products or similar industry-leading solutions is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the electrical utility, power generation, renewable energy, EPC, and industrial customer segments. Existing relationships with utilities, power producers, EPC contractors, and key industry stakeholders will be an advantage.
  • Experience interacting with engineers, technical decision-makers, project teams, and senior management stakeholders. Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and Salesforce.com is preferred.
  • Strong technical aptitude, commercial acumen, communication skills, and customer-focused mindset. Able to articulate complex technical solutions and differentiate value in a competitive market environment.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Central and Eastern Visayas and manage customers across multiple locations within the territory.
  • A valid driver’s license. Candidates should preferably be based in Metro Cebu or be willing to relocate. Familiarity with the Visayas market is an advantage; however, relevant product and industry experience will be prioritized.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Cebuano.
