If you’re looking for a role that supports your professional growth and your connection to a vibrant city, we’d love to talk.Local Team Collaboration:We’re a welcoming, hospital-employed team of 14 physicians and 8 APPs, who work closely with other hospital staff and departments at Mount Nittany Medical Center to bring the best possible quality of care to our patients.Our clinical performance nurse assists you in the process of providing a high-quality patient care experience.Qualifications:Board-certified or board-eligible internal medicine or family medicine trained physicianAuthorized to work for any employer in the United StatesScheduling:Full-time positions follow a 7-days-on, 7-days-off rotation.Shifts for the day position are scheduled from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM (rounding) and 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM (admitting)Key Responsibilities:As a day clinician, your responsibility will encompass rounding on patients, discharging when appropriate, and participating in multidisciplinary rounds.Everyone on the team rotates through the admitting shiftThe hospital has an open ICU with intensivist support, no procedures or vent management required.Our team performs geographic rounding when possibleOur hospitalist team is part of the rapid response and code team — we’re all certified in basic life support and advanced cardiovascular life support.
