The impact you'll make on this role:

The person hired for the position of Filtek Matrix (Digital Dental Designer) will be a member of the Oral Care Solutions Division digital manufacturing technology team. The ideal candidate will be energetic, eager to learn, and actively involved in identifying improvement opportunities within the digital workflow.

As a Filtek Matrix Digital Dental Designer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. In this role, you will make an impact by working cross‑functionally with teams across manufacturing, R&D, and the business teams.

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: 

• Responsible for the daily processing of Restoration Design and Front‑End cases, including model cleaning, design review, and digital quality inspection.

• Communication with R&D, CA, Design Services or CST teams may be required.

• Performing miscellaneous duties as required by supervision. 
• Assist with co‑worker training as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• 3+ years of design experience using 3Shape software (Dental CAD Design).
• 3+ years in a Dental Lab Technician role.
• Fluency in English.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret orthodontic records and treatment prescriptions.

Soft skills:

·        Strong attention to detail combined with successful time management and prioritization skills. 

·        Very good communication skills and ability to work in a team. 

·        Detail oriented/accurate and thorough.

·        Highly computer literate, knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.

·        Continuous improvement mindset combined with a solution orientated work approach.

·        Ability to effectively and systematically trouble-shoot and qualify issues.

·        Ability to effectively present information and/or feedback to co-workers and supervisors of all the cross functional teams.

·        Energetic, straightforward and performance-driven personality.

·        Resilient – able to adapt and perform in changing customer and organizational environments.

·        High level of integrity and commitment.

·        Ability to effectively follow all the step guides.

·        Coming up with creative and novel solutions and proactive skills.

Work location:

·        Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to CR Hub at least [1] days per week).

 

 

Schedule: Monday – Friday.
