The opportunity

Shape the future of global tool management at Hitachi Energy.

As Global Process Owner – Tool Management, you will drive the standardization and continuous improvement of our global end-to-end tool management process. You will work with teams across regions to enhance efficiency, strengthen digital capabilities, and improve tool utilization worldwide.

This is a high-impact role where you will combine strategy, process ownership, and change leadership to support business growth and operational excellence. You will collaborate with diverse stakeholders and influence how critical service assets are managed across the organization

How you'll make an impact

  • Define and govern the global end-to-end tool management process.

  • Standardize global processes using ETM.next as the core platform.

  • Align tool management with growth, safety, quality, and cost objectives.

  • Partner with digital and IT teams to enhance system capabilities.

  • Define global standards, workflows, policies, and governance structures.

  • Drive ETM.next adoption and continuous improvement across regions.

  • Establish and monitor KPIs for utilization, availability, and compliance.

  • Improve visibility of tool assets through reporting and analytics.

  • Support investment planning and optimization of tool-related spending.

  • Lead change management and promote best-practice sharing globally.

Your background

  • Degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related field.

  • Experience in service operations, asset management, or process ownership.

  • Strong knowledge of tool lifecycle and asset management processes.

  • Experience with digital platforms and enterprise systems.

  • Proven success working in global and matrix organizations.

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • Ability to drive change across multiple functions and regions.

  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
