In this role, you will make critical, strategic decisions to lay the technical and architectural foundation for this greenfield ecosystem. This is a high-impact position with immense visibility: the platform is pivotal to Scalable Capital’s regulatory compliance and security posture, ensuring that every product and feature we launch is bulletproof against financial crime attack vectors.You will collaborate closely with our Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Anti Financial Crime (AFC) Operations teams. Taking functional ownership, you will be responsible for the developments of a dedicated engineering team primarily consisting of Data Engineers.We encourage creative, proactive problem-solving: you will analyze potential attack vectors across Scalable’s platform and determine the most secure, efficient, and scalable methodologies to mitigate them. Rather than operating a legacy system, you will architect and build this platform from the beginning, acting as its overall owner. You will have access to cutting-edge technologies and a dedicated engineering team to address these complex challenges. In an era defined by AI and rapid tech acceleration, we are looking for a smart, creative problem solver who prioritizes execution speed alongside diligence to eliminate regulatory risks and automate workflows.Key ResponsibilitiesGreenfield Tooling Development: Lead the functional definition and technical implementation of a brand-new, end-to-end Anti Financial Crime tooling ecosystem.Product Enablement & Security: Act as the dedicated Product Manager for Scalable’s Anti Financial Crime domain.
