Independently manage payroll operations for assigned LATAM countries and client portfolios. Ensure payrolls are processed accurately, on time, and in compliance with local legislation, tax regulations, and employment laws. Review and validate payroll inputs, calculations, outputs, and reconciliations to ensure data integrity and payroll accuracy. Analyze payroll variances and investigate complex payroll issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions. Serve as a primary point of contact for payroll-related inquiries, providing timely and professional support to clients and internal stakeholders. Partner with payroll providers and internal teams to resolve operational, compliance, and service delivery issues. Monitor payroll processing schedules and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are consistently achieved. Maintain accurate payroll documentation and support audit and compliance activities. Stay informed of legislative and regulatory changes impacting payroll operations within assigned countries. Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes, controls, and operational efficiency, driving continuous improvement initiatives. Escalate risks and compliance concerns appropriately while recommending practical solutions. Support knowledge sharing, onboarding, and mentoring of less experienced team members. Participate in client implementations, transitions, and process enhancement projects as required. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to investigate and resolve complex issues independently. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracy. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other business productivity tools. Demonstrated ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment. Knowledge of payroll processes, compliance requirements, and statutory regulations. Experience working with global clients or international teams. Experience participating in process improvement, implementation, or operational excellence initiatives.
