Job Description
Engineering Procurement Support Analyst
The Engineering Analyst delivers procurement transactional support for capital projects. Operating from the different Global Delivery Centre and reporting to the Team Lead, the role handles shopping cart creation, P-Card routing, Goods Receipt (GR) and Service Enter Sheet (SES) confirmation, contingent worker procurement, and stakeholder query resolution within defined KPI targets measured monthly via Power BI. This role has no major technical engineering responsibilities but is driven by material planning.
- Shopping Cart Processing – Create and submit limit orders, free description orders, catalog orders, and combo orders in SAP within required Business Day with zero discrepancies; validate against project cost centers and Capital Engineering codes before submission.
- P-Card Assignment: Screen incoming procurement requests, identify P-Card eligible items, and route to the engineering coordinator within 8 working hours; maintain tracking logs and escalate exceptions to Team Lead.
- GR Confirmation & SES Management: Process Goods Receipt (GR) confirmations and accept Service Entry Sheets (SES) for purchase orders within required Business Days; generate and distribute pending SES notification reports to requesters within required Business Days.
- Contingent Worker (PMCW) Procurement: Raise purchase requests for engineering contingent workers in the GET system within required Business Days; maintain PMCW requests and fulfilment records.
- Stakeholder Query Management: Act as first point of contact for engineering stakeholder inquiries; resolve routine queries within KPI OTD matrix and escalate complex issues to Team Lead.
- Process Compliance: Adhere to all applicable SOPs and Work Instructions; participate in dual-run and shadow period activities during BPO transition; support audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
