GBS Technical Reviewer (QHSE)Full-timeCompany DescriptionSGS is the leading Inspection, Testing, Verification and Certification company.Job DescriptionThe GBS Technical Reviewer has to check that ISO 9001 and/or ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 and/or QHSE second party audit report packs comply with all relevant requirements. The Technical Reviewer’s responsibility is to verify that the audit has been conducted in accordance with all SGS procedural, accreditation and/or QHSE second party audit requirements, including team competence, audit time spent, structure of audit plan etc. and to confirm that the output of the audit is technically appropriate and adequate to support the recommendation of the audit team.Check audit report packs confirming that the audit has been conducted in accordance with all SGS QHSE procedural, accreditation and second party audit requirements, and that the output of the audit is technically appropriate and adequate to support the audit team’s recommendationRaise queries to the relevant person if any of the above items are not adequate.Phrase the queries in a constructive wayPerform the review in a timely manner (per the target of KPI)Use the relevant IT applications as necessary (CertIQ, Digiapp)Maintain an accurate and up to date knowledge of:specific management system standards/normative documentsSGS BA processes and procedures as well as accreditation requirementsaudit principles, practices and techniquesClient Business SectorComplies with the Quality, Health and Safety, Environment and Energy (QHSEE) policies and supporting objectives including, but not limited to:Demonstrates strong obligation to SGS QHSEE policies, procedures and work instructions by actively participating in meetings, projects and events, completes required training, intervenes in unsafe situations, refuses unsafe work, and complies fully with all applicable laws and regulations related to HSEEPerform appropriately and immediately to emergency situations and assists other staff members in maintaining readiness to respond to emergencies within the workplaceDisposes or directs the disposal of waste generated as a part of daily work performed in a safe manner and in compliance with the disposal regulations and requirements, and in accordance with SGS Environmental Management System requirementsReports all incidents, including near misses and hazards, that may affect the achievement of QHSEE objectives in accordance with SGS Incident Reporting and Management requirementsEfficiently uses all equipment, including safety equipment, and company owned property in the manner intended and reports any damaged / lost equipment to immediate superiorMaintains a safe and tidy worksite according to the organization’s 5S program and guidelinesMaintains awareness of the safety and health related hazards and environmental aspects and proposes action plans to control the risks to immediate superior or QHSEE CoordinatorsActively participates in incident investigations and risk assessments as deemed necessary by SGS managementFulfills the requirements needed in the success of the QHSEE Management SystemRecognizes the potential consequences of not following the established policies, procedures, and guidelines, including not fulfilling the organization’s compliance obligationsQualificationsUniversity degree preferably in a relevant technical subject (science, engineering, business)Fluency in EnglishAt least 4 years workplace experience in a position related to Quality or Environmental or Occupational Safety & Health management systemsSuccessfully passed of at least two Lead Auditor course for QHSE Management systemsCompleted other QHSE management systems and scheme-specific training (e.g. NEBOSH or similar, pollution control officer, etc) would be an advantageAuditor or Lead Auditor qualification for QHSE Management systems is an advantageAny experience related to ISO 9001...
