Formed in 2012, Chenega Applied Solutions has evolved into a global professional services integrator that employs hundreds of people at locations across the globe.  The Custodian is responsible for performing all necessary daily janitorial tasks as required by specific contracts at one or more designated contract sites. Responsibilities Clean floors: sweep, dust, wet mop, scrub, and/or vacuum.Service, clean, and supply restrooms:  toilets, urinals, sinks, fixtures, floors, trash, and lockers, etc. Wet mop, strip, wax, seal, and buff floors.Trash pick-up and removal by taking it to the designated dumping area.Wash windows and walls.Vacuum, spot clean, and shampoo carpets.Dust and clean light fixtures and blinds.Load, unload, distribute supplies, service lobbies and high-use areas, and perform special cleaning.Operate powered equipment typically used in custodial operations.Keep janitorial closets clean and orderly.Maintain a safe working environment, report unsafe conditions to the supervisor, and adhere to the company safety plan.Read and follow all label instructions on chemical materials and operating instructions for power equipment.Report out-of-order equipment to supervisors.Always treat all building occupants with courtesy and respect.Report accidents immediately to supervisors.Complete and submit accurate time sheets.Other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required3+ years of related experienceBackground check required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Knowledge of cleaning solutions and janitorial equipment.Knowledge and experience working with and around chemical cleaning compounds.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Ability to operate power equipment normally found in janitorial operations.Ability to organize work and follow cleaning schedules.Ability to work with the public.Ability to work as a member of a team.Ability to work adjusted schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and/or overtime as required. How you’ll grow  At Chenega MIOS, our professional development plan focuses on helping our team members at every level of their careers to identify and use their strengths to do their best work every day.
