Security Property Coordinator | Full-Time
Overview
Security Property Coordinator is responsible for maintaining patient valuables records are properly stored and filed for retrieval both on-site and off-site. Maintain, update and audit patient valuables records to include but not limited to patient notification, property release and disposal. And audit the contraband and lost and found records to include notifying the owner, releasing the property, or properly disposing of the property in accordance with UF Health Jacksonville policy.
Full-Time Position: M-F 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Qualifications
Required Education:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree Necessary
Skills:
1. Ability to reason and make decision without direct supervision under a variety of conditions.
2. Take the initiative to contact the visitor, patient or employee with a genuine interest in their needs.
3. Present a positive attitude in performing assignments and providing assistance.
4. Possess the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
5. Basic principles and procedures related to the disposition of release of property
6. Principles, procedures, methods and techniques used in storing property
Required Experience:
- 3-5 years' experience in storage and inventory of property and maintaining accurate records.
Preferred Experience:
- Over 5 years' experience in storage and inventory of property and maintaining accurate records.
