Senior Lending Analyst to drive portfolio performance analysis and credit strategy development across our lending products, including origination, pricing, account management, and collections. This role sits at the intersection of credit analytics, risk management, and business decisioning, using data-driven insights to evaluate portfolio health, assess trade-offs, and recommend strategies that support responsible growth in a regulated consumer-finance environment. Partnering closely with Product, Risk, Finance, Operations, and Analytics teams, the Senior Credit Analyst will work on high-impact initiatives that directly influence credit outcomes and customer access to financial products while gaining broad exposure to business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
Day to day, you'll...
- Analyze and monitor credit portfolio performance across origination, account management, and collections, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities
- Develop, evaluate, and optimize credit strategies including underwriting rules, pricing structures, loan assignment, and collection treatments
- Conduct deep analyses on approval rates, delinquency, roll rates, losses, vintage performance, and profitability tradeoffs
- Design and assess strategy tests and experiments (e.g., policy changes, pricing adjustments, treatment segmentation), defining success metrics and performance tracking
- Prepare clear, actionable insights and recommendations for Credit Risk, Product, and business stakeholders to support data driven decision making
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in credit analytics, risk analytics, or financial analytics with hands on portfolio analysis experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or the equivalent through a combination of education and related work experience
- Experience supporting credit strategy in areas such as origination, pricing, account management, or collections
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL and Excel, and working knowledge of Python or other analytics tools preferred
- Solid understanding of consumer credit performance metrics and lending economics
- Experience working in consumer lending, fintech, banking, or another regulated financial services environment
- Ability to translate analysis into clear business recommendations and communicate effectively with cross‑functional partners
Preferred Qualifications
- Masters degree in a related field or the equivalent through a combination of education and related work experience
- Experience leading or materially supporting credit strategy design across origination, pricing, account management, or collections
- Strong understanding of consumer lending economics, including approvals, losses, and profitability trade‑offs
- Experience partnering cross‑functionally to test, implement, and monitor credit strategy or policy changes
- Advanced degree in a related quantitative field, or equivalent experience

Pay Range Information
The pay range for this position is listed below. Local minimum wage laws apply. This information is posted pursuant to local requirements to provide applicants with information about what they might be eligible to receive. Individual pay decisions will depend on job-related factors such as experience, education, skill, performance, and geographic location where work will be performed. Successful candidates may be able to participate in one or more incentive compensation or short-term incentive plans, which could generate additional earnings in accordance with the terms of each plan. Pay Range
$100,400.00 - $150,600.00/Yr.
