Safely performs position specific responsibilities to ensure a high level of productivity, quality and internal and external customer service while adhering to all relevant company policies and procedures. Identifies and recommends process improvements to streamline and increase efficiency of existing programs. Essential Job Functions:Set up, shut down, and maintain laminator machine according to manufacturer’s specifications to meet daily production goalsManeuver large loads of material into machine and out of machine frequentlyInspect each load of laminated products to ensure customer satisfactionQuality inspection procedures are to include:Fiber tear adhesionAdhesion consistencyImage registrationTroubleshoot mechanical and process issues; take corrective action, such as making minor repairs or replacing parts, or escalating concerns appropriately as defined by the supervisorAssist in training new operators by demonstrating tasks and providing guidance on processes and proceduresDetect and report faulty equipment, defective material, improper operations and unusual conditions to supervision, follow up with re-pairing equipment and using phone support as neededObserve all prescribed safety rules and regulations and maintain work area in a neat and orderly conditionAdhere to company and departmental policies and rules as defined by the employee handbook or managementPerform other duties as assigned and work from written and verbal instruction
