The Business Intelligence Manager sits within the Media Sciences team, reporting into the Head of Media Sciences. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, analytical skills, and leadership abilities to effectively manage data sourcing, analysis, reporting, and integration efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business intelligence principles, data warehousing concepts, and experience working with BI tools.
The Media Sciences team leads the transformation of Citi’s media investment and measurement, while delivering positive return on marketing investment and future-proofing our business. The team works in close partnership with US and Global Digital Media, Analytics, Acquisitions, Advertising and Product Management teams.
In this role, you’re expected to:
* Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze business data, generate reports, and create compelling data visualizations using business intelligence tools like Power BI or Tableau.
* Develop and maintain dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
* Convert business questions about key metrics to relevant views on dashboards, and design dashboards to drive relevant insights
* Data Integration: Design the data integration processes, ensuring data consistency and reliability. Work with external vendors and internal technology teams to navigate data landscape and regulations, sharing agreements, and integrate data from multiple data sources into a centralized data warehouse or reporting environment.
* Data Structure and QA flows: Determine and QA data flows and data structures from different systems to production reporting environments. Implement data validation procedures to ensure data integrity and accuracy throughout the data pipeline.
