hackajob is collaborating with Barclays to connect them with exceptional professionals for this role.Join us as a Cyber Defence Engineering Lead at Barclays, where you will develop, implement and maintain solutions that support the safeguarding of the banks systems and sensitive information.To be successful as Cyber Defence Engineering Lead you should have:Hands-on expertise with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) and security analytics platforms such as Sentinel, Splunk, Elastic, Cribl, and Snowflake.Strong background in Python development, automation, DevSecOps, and security engineering principles.Experience with Configuration as Code (CaC/IaC), GitLab, Git workflows, and CI/CD pipelines.Proven platform engineering and technical leadership experience, supporting and enhancing security platforms.Some Other Highly Valued Skills May IncludeExperience within the financial services industry.Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.This role will be based in Glasgow, Knutsford, or Northampton.Purpose of the roleTo develop,...
