The JPMorgan Payments Transformation & Execution team is a global team that works with management to develop and implement the key aspects of its global strategy.  Strategic Execution is a key element of this wider team that focuses on project delivery.

Job Summary:

As a Senior Associate in the Strategic Execution team you would be part of a business solutions/business consulting team that executes the division’s most important cross-product initiatives. You would work collaboratively across JPMorgan Payment’s geographies, products and functions to deliver projects that contribute towards the end-to-end JPMorgan global operating model and provide advisory and execution support to Payments in its business growth, client process optimisation and regulatory compliance needs.

You would be part of a team that owns a portfolio of global & regional transformation initiatives to implement JPMorgan Payments’ new operating model, support integration of acquired businesses, transform client experience processes across the full breadth of JPMorgan Payments client suite and support the development and implementation of JPMorgan Payments Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) strategy.

You will support a team that has a commercial focus and works with some of JPMorgan Payment’s largest clients, managing a broad and diverse portfolio of initiatives driven both by key client requirements and by the priorities of the regional leadership team.
 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Deliver business change required to support the JPMorgan Payments business strategy
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to shape programs, deliverables and workstreams
  • Provide support for working group and workstream meetings 
  • Use project management tracking tools and systems consistently and accurately to document current status, issues, and risks for all active projects
  • Serve as an effective point of escalation for program stakeholders 
  • Identify and communicate process gaps and improvements opportunities; own the delivery of improvement initiatives; be recognized by partners as a process expert with ability to drive improvements
  • Prepare handover information and work with stakeholders to transit project to Business-as-usual (BAU) when completed 

 

Required Qualifications, skills and capabilities:

  • Demonstrable creative, problem-solving, analytical, data analysis, reporting and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational skills and delivery focus with the ability to multi-task, influence and manage to deadlines
  • Experience managing project workstreams and supporting end-to-end project delivery 
  • Ability to partner collaboratively with the business and its functional support areas across multiple locations
  • Ability to successfully operate across regions, business, and functions with demonstrable strong negotiation, influencing and relationship skills
  • Demonstrable communication skills with the ability to effectively manage difficult conversations and to deliver a consenting view without damaging relationships
  • Ability to develop clear, concise and persuasive written deliverables for a senior audience
  • A strong risk and control awareness with the ability to anticipate control gaps and determine appropriate remediation plans 
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint 
 Preferred qualifications, skills and capabilities 
  • Knowledge of JPMorgan Payments
  • Knowledge of digital tools such as Alteryx and Signaviocle
