You'll bridge the gap between technical teams and business users, ensuring solutions are clearly defined, thoroughly tested, and successfully delivered.What you'll be doingGathering and analysing business requirements for new projects, system enhancements, and process improvementsTranslating business needs into clear user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteriaWorking closely with developers and technical teams to deliver effective solutionsSupporting Agile delivery, backlog management, sprint planning, and change requestsCoordinating user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensuring solutions meet business requirementsIdentifying risks, dependencies, and opportunities for continuous improvementSupporting software releases, deployment planning, and stakeholder communicationHelping modernise and de-risk key business-critical systemsQualificationsWhat we're looking forProven experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, or similar roleStrong requirements gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder management skillsExperience working within software delivery environments using Agile, Scrum, or hybrid methodologiesAbility to analyse complex business processes and translate them into practical solutionsExperience supporting testing activities, user acceptance testing, and system change deliveryStrong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholdersTechnical awarenessWhilst this isn't a developer role, you'll be comfortable working with technical teams and have an understanding of:Business applications and system integrationsDatabases and SQL conceptsAPIs, interfaces, imports and exportsSoftware deployment and release managementMicrosoft technologies such as SQL Server, Azure DevOps, .NET, or similar environmentsAdditional InformationAt SGS, we believe in rewarding our employees for their hard work and commitment.
