The Technology Compliance Intern will support the Technology Compliance team in maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies. This role provides hands-on experience in compliance, risk management, audit support, and governance activities while working closely with Technology Compliance professionals on key initiatives and projects.
Job Description Responsibilities
Assist with risk & compliance activities related to technology, security, and regulatory requirements.
Support the collection, organization, and review of compliance and audit evidence for controls.
Participate in compliance assessments and control reviews under the guidance of senior team members.
Assist with user access reviews and other governance-related activities.
Support audit preparation activities, including evidence gathering and tracking remediation items.
Help monitor compliance tasks, project updates, and risk management initiatives.
Research regulatory requirements, industry standards, and emerging compliance trends.
Collaborate with Technology Compliance team members and other departments as needed.
Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and knowledge-sharing activities.
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Proficient in Microsoft Office specifically Microsoft Excel
Demonstrate the willingness and ability to embrace new technologies, learn quickly, and effectively leverage AI-enabled tools
Ability to work within a team atmosphere
Effective organization and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with a Business Intelligence (BI) tool preferred
Bachelors or Associates degree in process with Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics major preferred
