We're a diverse, mission-driven group from over 10 nationalities, working collaboratively and remotely across continents.About the roleWe're looking for a Data Team Lead to join Equitable Earth's Data team, the person who keeps certification delivery running smoothly. Reporting directly to the Director of Engineering, you'll manage a technical sub-team of Forest Engineers, Geospatial Data Engineers, and Analysts, coordinate requests from our Certification and External Relations teams, and track the operationalisation of our carbon certification methodologies.This role sits at the intersection of people management and project coordination. It's a great fit for someone comfortable driving delivery in a technical environment while scaling processes and teams.What you’ll doDelivery & Team CoordinationLead and manage the operations sub-team, ensuring clear prioritisation, task allocation, and high-quality, timely delivery.Act as the main point of contact for the Certification and External Relations teams, managing requests, aligning expectations, and coordinating timelines.Report on team capacity, progress, and blockers to the Director of Engineering.Support team members' growth and foster a productive, collaborative working environment.Methodology OperationalisationMaintain a clear, up-to-date picture of methodology operationalisation: what's been implemented, what's in progress, and what's next.Drive progress by identifying dependencies and blockers, and coordinating with Data Engineering and the broader Data team to keep things on track.Process & DocumentationStep in on operational tasks when needed to unblock the team or handle peak...
