Picture yourself brightening someone’s day. When you join our Hotels team, that’s exactly what you’ll do every time you come to work! You are responsible for providing support to the daily operations of the Human Resources department, assisting with recruitment activities, participating in the preparation of documents for the team members' onboarding and offboarding process, and assisting with the maintenance of employee files and other tasks assigned by the HR team. As a Trainee - HR, you’re not just learning the full scope of human resource management – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day:

  • Employee Records:  Maintain and update employee files and HR databases accurately.
  • HR Administration:  Support daily HR operations, including preparing documents, reports, and handling correspondence.
  • Employee Engagement:  Assist in planning staff events, recognition programs, and internal communications.
  • Policy Compliance:  Help ensure HR practices align with hotel policies and labor regulations.
  • Support & Liaison:  Act as a point of contact for employee queries and assist in resolving basic HR-related issues.

In addition, this role requires the following minimum qualifications:

  • Degree in HR, Business, or Hospitality.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), outlook and Canva.
  • Quick to learn, adaptable, and eager to grow in HR.
  • Strong verbal and written skills; professional demeanor.
  • Collaborative and supportive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Genuine passion for human resource management in hospitality.
  • Demonstrates the ability to learn new skills rapidly and adapt to new work environments. Has a keen interest in human resource management.
