DESCRIPTION:
Join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific where you'll contribute to managing logistics operations for clinical trials, pharmaceutical products, and scientific equipment. As a Logistics Specialist I, you'll coordinate shipments, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain supply chain operations. You'll handle order processing, documentation, inventory management, and work with internal teams and external partners to deliver excellent service. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to our mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pick raw materials and prepare them for production lines according to manufacturing requirements.

  • Receive goods from suppliers, including shipment receipt, required inspections, ERP system receiving, and transferring samples to the Quality Control department.

  • Pick, pack, and prepare finished goods for export shipments.

  • Perform daily work using ERP systems and computerized warehouse and inventory management systems.

  • Operate a forklift for material handling, storage, and internal transportation.

  • Organize and store inventory in a batch-managed warehouse.

  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and compliance with company quality and safety procedures.

  • Take initiative in continuous improvement and warehouse process optimization activities.

  • Work collaboratively as part of a professional team in an advanced, high-standard work environment.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in a computerized warehouse – an advantage.

  • Experience working with SAP – a significant advantage.

  • Valid forklift operator's license – an advantage.

  • Strong computer skills and the ability to work extensively with computerized systems – required.

  • High level of organization, accuracy, and attention to detail.

  • Strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and ability to work independently.

  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Motivation to learn, develop professionally, and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

  • Willingness to work in a temperature-controlled warehouse while adhering to strict quality and safety standards.

  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment while meeting quality and productivity targets.
