EMEA is where much of our enterprise self-hosted opportunity lives customers who can't move to the cloud for compliance, architectural, or connectivity reasons, and who represent significant untapped revenue as we bring TimescaleDB Enterprise to market. You will lead a team of Account Executives selling into this landscape, shape how we position across a mix of Tiger Cloud and self-hosted deployments, and build the operating rhythm that turns strong reps into a repeatable, outbound-led engine.You will report to the Head of Sales and work closely with peers across US Enterprise and US Commercial, as well as Marketing, Sales Engineering, Customer Success, and Partnerships. This is a high-agency role where you'll be expected to hold a strong point of view, push back when needed, and shape strategy rather than execute against a fixed playbook.Due to the team's location and our customers' needs, the candidate we select must reside in Barcelona. This role is remote, and English language fluency is required.What you will be responsible for in this roleLead and manage a team of 6-8 Account Executives across EMEA, setting clear performance expectations and providing ongoing coaching in an insight-led, challenger-style sales motionOwn EMEA revenue attainment both new logo and expansion across Tiger Cloud and self-hosted deployments, including TimescaleDB Enterprise as it becomes commercially availableBuild and enforce the outbound motion that anchors the region: target account discipline, contact density, and quality of engagement over volumeCoach reps on business impact discovery and ensure adoption of our sales frameworkPartner with Marketing on ABM execution for the region, including custom nurture cadences, event follow-up, and coordinated coverage against the target account listWork cross-functionally with Sales Engineering, Customer Success, and CDE / Professional Services to move deals through complex, multi-stakeholder cyclesRecruit, hire, and develop talent building a bench of strong ICs and identifying future leaders within the teamRepresent EMEA in company-level GTM planning, forecasting, and quarterly leadership discussionsYou could be a great fit if2+ years of experience managing a quota-carrying mid-market or enterprise sales team, ideally in SaaS, infrastructure, or database-related salesTrack record of building and scaling outbound motions not just managing inbound conversion including running teams whose primary pipeline source is self-generatedStrong coaching orientation, with the ability to develop reps into confident, insight-led sellers who can challenge technical buyersExperience selling to technical...
