You will participate in system definition, requirements development, architecture decomposition, and verification activities throughout the system lifecycle, from early concept development through integration and test.In this role, you will work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to translate mission and customer needs into system requirements and technical solutions. You will help define system architecture and interfaces across hardware, software, and infrastructure components, with particular focus on RF systems including antennas, RF front-end equipment, and ground communications infrastructure.This requisition may be filled at a higher job grade based on the qualifications listed below.This requisition may be filled as either a level 3 or level 4.Basic Qualifications for a Level 3:5 years of relevant experience with Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline; 3 years with Masters; 0 years with a PhDWorking knowledge of systems engineering principles and processesDemonstrated experience quickly learning new concepts and approachesExperience in the design, development, and integration of ground system software, networking, and/or RF antenna programs.Familiarity with RF communications systems, ground systems, or antenna-based architectures.Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government clearanceBasic Qualifications for a Level 4:8 years of relevant experience with Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline; 6 years with Masters; 4 years with a PhDWorking knowledge of systems engineering principles and processesDemonstrated experience quickly learning new concepts and approachesExperience in the design, development, and integration of ground system software, networking, and/or RF antenna programs.Familiarity with RF communications systems, ground systems, or antenna-based architectures.Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government clearancePreferred Qualifications:Experience with satellite communications, ground segment systems, or RF communications infrastructure.Experience with Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE), SysML and CameoFamiliarity with space vehicle ground segment designProven ability to iterate quickly on design and development processes, incorporating feedback and making improvementsExperience with Agile developmentEffectively communicate and present to project and program management, other technical managers and customersExperience integrating MBSE models with requirements management tools (e.g. DOORS/DNG) to support end-to-end traceability and verification planning.Experience with technical writing and team building skills
