This position is based in our Toronto office and offers benefits starting from day one.The expected annual salary range for this role is $59000 - $73000. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.What you’ll do:
Primary FunctionOwn the order to cash cycle for single phase and three-phase UPS products and projects. Act as the single point of contact for customers post order to ensure a superb customer experience that results in repeat business. The incumbent is responsible for providing Eaton customers, distributors, end users, potential customers and Field Sales with technical support and product, delivery, pricing, claims/returns and program information. Manages customer orders, including order entry and order changes. Expedites orders and shipments with operations. Responsible for maintaining accurate customer information, validating price, verifying order terms and conditions, confirming routing rules and entering shipment, quantity and date information.Coordinate with internal resources (Sales, Application Engineering, Finance, Logistics, Service) to accurately maintain project files. Total order management responsibility up to $20 million.Essential FunctionsWork closely with inside sales personnel, application engineering, channel and regional managers to book orders and transition customers from sales to post-order supportCommunicates directly with the outside sales, independent sales agencies, distributors, contractors, engineers and end users to ensure sign offs, releases and deliveries are maintained as needed.Build and maintain excellent working relationship with sales agencies and distributors.Advise customers on use and application of standard products and refers more technical inquiries to appropriate personnel.Accurately process all customer Orders (received via phone, fax or electronically from manufacturers’ reps, distributors, OEM’s & internal sales personnel), Return Material Authorizations and credit requests.You will communicate effectively with marketing, engineering, field sales, and other internal departments to ensure accurate, on-time delivery of project commitments . Provide input and changes to finance for revenue and margin forecast. Pursue order releases and resolves problems with shipments or invoicing. Responsible for ensuring issues are escalated to managers for prompt investigation and action as required.Coordinate with Purchasing, Engineering and Sales to quote lead times and delivery dates for product which is not in stock. Communicate and submit in a timely manner, purchase requisitions to purchasing.Provide supporting documentation (quotes, emails) for non- standard product and pre-ordered product.You will be responding to requests for quote, pricing adders/deducts for product changeYou will Manage multiple project orders and prioritize time and tasks effectively to serve Eaton’s customersQualifications:
Basic Qualifications:Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service or call center environment.Post secondary diploma or degreeExceptional communications skillsAbility to collaborate across boundaries (finance, marketing, supply chain, operations, customers)Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or diploma in electrical or mechanical engineering or related field, and or business degreeProject Management disciplinePreference to bilingual English/FrenchAbility to leverage internal resources to promote customer solutionsStrong interpersonal...
