The Director of Product Management – Data Platform will own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for Bloomreach's core data foundation. This role is central to making One Platform adoption successful across both existing and new Marketing and Search customers.

As the owner of the data layer that powers every channel, app and every AI agent/tools, this Director will define how customer data flows into Bloomreach, how it is stored and processed, and how it is made available to applications, agents, and external systems through APIs and Loomi Connect.

This is a high-impact leadership role reporting to the GM & VP of Product. We are currently allowing flexibility for our employees to work from anywhere for the respective region (Central & Eastern Europe) or we are happy to meet you in our offices in Bratislava (Slovakia) or Brno, Prague (Czechia) on a full-time basis.

 

Your job will be to:

Provide Product Vision & Leadership:

  • Define product strategy and roadmap for the Data PlatformProfile, Events & Catalog (definition and storage) and Data Integrations — ensuring a unified, scalable data foundation that powers Marketing, Search, AI agents, and Loomi Connect.
  • Own and drive the One Platform adoption strategy, making it fast and seamless for new and existing customers to get their data flowing into Bloomreach and realize value quickly.
  • Partner with Engineering on technical strategy and innovation, including real-time streaming (Kafka/Omniconnect+), zero-copy architectures, and data export capabilities.
  • Lead a team of PMs focused on building enterprise-grade data infrastructure that serves as the foundation for all Bloomreach applications and AI capabilities.
  • Balance 60% team leadership and 40% driving key projects, ensuring strategic alignment while executing high-priority initiatives.

Lead with Accountability:

  • Own the full product lifecycle — from ideation and prioritization to development, launch, and ongoing optimization — across all Data Platform domains.
  • Drive prioritization efforts, ensuring data reliability, scalability, and extensibility are at the core of platform investments.
  • Define and own platform adoption metrics — time-to-first-data, integration completion rates, data coverage, and active data usage across applications and agents.
  • Deeply understand how each data domain contributes to monetization and customer retention, ensuring the data platform is a key driver of NRR and reduced churn.
  • Partner with Product Marketing to drive successful launches, enablement, and customer adoption of data platform capabilities.
  • Work closely with Engineering leadership to uphold data pipeline performance, integration reliability, and compliance requirements.

Own the Data Foundation for AI & Agents:

  • Deliver Data Agent and a semantic layer for AI Agents and services across the Loomi AI platform
  • Ensure every service team deploying to the Agent Platform has the data APIs and schemas they need to build intelligent, reliable agent capabilities.
  • Partner closely with Loomi Connect to ensure the data layer supports MCP-packaged tools and agent-driven workflows.

Partner with Customers & GTM Teams:

  • Engage directly with enterprise customers and partners to gather insights, shape the roadmap, and ensure the data platform meets their evolving needs — particularly around integrations and One Platform data onboarding.
  • Support Sales, Customer Success, and Solutions Engineering teams by providing product expertise for key deals, pilots, and integrations.

 

Cultivate and Shape Team Culture:

  • Foster a strong product culture that connects high-quality platform development with measurable business outcomes.
  • Continuously evolve team practices to support innovation, efficiency, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Champion a data-driven, customer-first approach to product development, ensuring we build scalable and high-impact solutions.

 

What we are looking for:

  • 10+ years in product management, with at least 3 years leading teams as a Director or senior PM lead.
  • Deep experience in data platforms, data infrastructure, or data integration products — ideally in a B2B SaaS or marketing technology context.
  • Strong understanding of ETL/ELT pipelines, streaming architectures, and API-first platform design.
  • Experience driving platform adoption and onboarding — you understand what it takes to reduce time-to-value for enterprise customers integrating complex data.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML data requirements, including how data platforms serve agent architectures, recommendation systems, and analytics.
  • Proven ability to lead and grow PM teams, balancing strategic vision with hands-on execution.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills — comfortable working with Engineering, GTM, Customer Success, and executive leadership.
  • Experience in commerce, retail, or marketing technology is a strong plus.
  • Excellent communication skills — able to articulate data platform strategy to both technical and business audiences.
