Join us as an Observability Platform Engineer and help shape a modern telemetry platform powered by Elastic. You'll design and enhance solutions for logs, metrics, traces, dashboards, and alerting, enabling Operations and Product teams to gain actionable insights. This role offers the opportunity to improve reliability, performance, and user experience across infrastructure and applications while collaborating with diverse technical teams to build scalable, reusable observability capabilities.
Location: 3 times per week in Katowice office
- Evolving the Elastic-based observability platform to deliver reliable telemetry across products and operations.
- Implementing end-to-end visibility across logs, metrics, traces, events, and application performance.
- Creating dashboards, visualizations, and alerting solutions for infrastructure, cloud services, and business-critical applications.
- Partnering with engineering teams to establishing instrumentation standards and strengthening application observability.
- Enabling proactive service monitoring through performance analysis, dependency mapping, and error trend identification.
- Supporting incident response by providing operational insights, anomaly detection, and root-cause analysis capabilities.
- Optimizing telemetry pipelines through data onboarding, parsing, enrichment, retention, and quality controls.
- Defining observability standards, reusable templates, and monitoring best practices across environments.
- Driving adoption by documenting platform capabilities, onboarding processes, dashboards, and operational runbooks.
Essential
- Experience with observability, monitoring, telemetry, or platform engineering in production environments.
- Strong knowledge of logs, metrics, traces, alerting, dashboards, and service health monitoring.
Hands-on experience with Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Kibana, Elastic Agent, Logstash, Beats, Elastic APM).
Experience working with cloud, infrastructure, containerized, or distributed application environments.
Ability to work closely with Operations, DevOps, and Engineering teams to deliver observability solutions.
Experience with scripting, automation, or Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash, Terraform, Ansible).
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts and operational insights clearly.
Business-fluent English, both written and spoken.
Desired
Experience with OpenTelemetry, distributed tracing, service maps, SLOs, SLIs, or error-budget frameworks.
Experience with Kubernetes, Azure, Linux, networking, databases, and application runtime platforms.

Pay Transparency Statement
The monthly base salary range for this position starts from 13,000.00 PLN gross.
Actual compensation will depend on factors such as qualifications, skills, competencies, geographic location, and relevant experience. Certain roles may include additional components beyond base salary, such as incentive opportunities or other forms of variable compensation. Details of any such components will be discussed during the interview process and will be governed by the applicable plan documents.
