Ultrasound Technologist - Ultrasound
Ultrasound Technologist at St Mary Medical Center-Apple Valley. This position is Per Diem and will work 12-hour Variable Shifts.
Under the direction of the Radiologist and Lead Sonographer, and with latitude for independent judgment, performs all the professional duties involved in the utilization of high frequency sound waves for ultrasonic diagnosis at the technical level. Acts in compliance with federal, state and regulatory standards. Produces and evaluates images and related data to be used by physicians to render medical diagnosis. Performs related clerical tasks and assumes responsibility for coordinating exams performed.

Required Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree in ARDMS accredited program.
- Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
- Experience in OB/GYN, abdomen and small parts.
- 2 years Hospital experience.
