The Role: Emergency Dispatcher – 1st ShiftWho You Are:You will handle inbound calls from our push button emergency phones, monitoring emergency phones in places such as in elevators, pool areas, and other areas, which are used in the event of an emergency. You do not need dispatcher experience to apply to this job, we provide extensive on the job training. We celebrate change and are always looking for ways to do things better!What You’ll Do:Respond to testing and emergency callsAnswer a high volume of inbound calls from customers and vendorsAddress inquiries, provide accurate customer details, and document updates on emergency situationsNotify the customer call list of emergent and non-emergent situationsDispatch the Elevator Company or the appropriate authorities when necessaryManage multiple software programs for call handling and team communicationCommunicate updates clearly and conciselyProvide world class customer serviceFollow and abide by our core valuesWhat You’ll Bring:High school diploma or GED1-year customer service, call center, or dispatcher experienceAvailability to work weekends, holidays, and 1st shift (7:45am - 4:15pm)Bilingual in English and Spanish preferredExtraordinary customer service skills that meet quality standards for servicesExcellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skillsExceptional active listening skills, giving full attention to what others are saying, asking questions as appropriate without interruptingWorking knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookSelf-motivated with ability to work independently as well as part of a teamAccurately type at least 35 wpm with an accuracy rate of 95% or betterHigh rate of accuracy and attention to detailDependable and organizedPositive, competitive, and a determined attitudeA sense of humor is a plus, we like to have fun!What We Do:Our mission statement is simple - We provide critical communications services to help people in distress.Our Core Values are even simpler:1.
