We are a team with start-up mentality backed with the strength of a global, trusted company.Job DescriptionAs a Senior Hardware Engineer at Motorola Norway you are involved in all aspects of design, prototyping, test and manufacturing of our products.The position involves:Taking responsibility for hardware throughout its full lifecycle — from early concepts and development through industrialization, verification, compliance, release, continuous improvement, and long-term supportResearching and evaluate emerging/gap technologies Examining and experimenting with use cases, test setupsDesigning, reviewing and supervising all aspects of the electronics in our products Hardware testing, troubleshooting and qualificationBeing part of our core hardware team working closely with all other disciplinesCollaboration with manufacturing and sub-suppliers Together with our video security department, you will get the opportunity to shape our security solution.Basic RequirementsWe are looking for someone with these professional skills:Master’s degree in Electronics design5-10 years of experience in hardware product developmentA strong background in hands-on hardware design, with the practical engineering skills needed to make sound design choices.
