What you will do
- Lead and develop a geographically dispersed team, setting objectives, managing performance, and ensuring succession planning is in place
- Allocate workload and monitor capacity to ensure all sourcing activities and projects are delivered in line with service level agreements
- Drive the execution and continuous improvement of event sourcing strategies to increase efficiency, cost effectiveness, and compliance adherence
- Oversee the adoption and optimization of event management and booking systems (including Cvent and travel tools), improving data accuracy and reporting outputs
- Ensure all event activities comply with regulatory standards, data privacy requirements, and internal procedures by regularly reviewing and updating processes
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Education, Travel, Finance, and Compliance) to align event delivery with commercial and operational goals
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives across tools, systems, and workflows, incorporating vendor management best practices and industry standards
- Resolve complex event, supplier, or system-related issues, ensuring high-quality, compliant, and timely outcomes
- Regional scope across EMEA and LATAM with collaboration across global teams
What you will need
Required qualifications
- Minimum 6 years of professional work experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer service or operations-related role
- Minimum college-level qualification
- Fluency in English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Preferred qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Fluency in Spanish (highly preferred)
- Experience managing a team (highly preferred)
- Experience in vendor or supplier management
- Experience within the Medical Device or Pharmaceutical industry
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks relevant to healthcare or regulated environments
- Experience using event management, expense, and booking systems (e.g., Cvent, Concur, or similar platforms)
- Knowledge of travel industry processes and global booking systems
