We are looking for a Technical Product Trainer to deliver high-quality technical training on Honeywell Fire & Life Safety solutions across the UK & Ireland, with occasional support across Europe. In this role, you will develop and deliver engaging training programs for employees, channel partners, distributors, consultants, and end users, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills to successfully install, configure, and support our products. You will work closely with Sales, Engineering, Product Management, and Technical Support teams to keep training content current and aligned with the latest product developments.

  • Deliver technical product training for Honeywell Fire & Life Safety solutions, including Notifier EN Fire Detection Systems, Honeywell Public Address & Voice Alarm systems, and Xtralis VESDA technologies.
  • Plan and manage quarterly training schedules for the assigned region, ensuring effective delivery through the company’s Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Maintain accurate training records and participant data, while ensuring training materials, demonstration equipment, and documentation remain up to date.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, Sales, and Technical Support teams to continuously enhance training content and address customer training needs.
  • Validate new products and software releases before launch and update training programs to reflect the latest technologies and product features.
  • Build strong relationships with channel partners and customers to understand training requirements and promote product knowledge across the region.
  • Technical diploma or equivalent practical experience (5+ years in a relevant technical field).
  • At least 5 years of experience as a technical trainer, technical support engineer, or fire systems technician.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience installing, configuring, and programming fire alarm systems.
  • Strong knowledge of fire detection systems; experience with Notifier EN, Honeywell PAVA, and/or Xtralis VESDA is highly desirable.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with a customer-focused and proactive approach.
  • Fluent English and willingness to travel approximately 30% across the UK & Ireland, with occasional travel within Europe.
