We celebrate change and are always looking for ways to do things better! What You’ll Do: Provide strategic legal advice and guidance to senior leadership, including C-suite executives, on corporate governance, risk, and business operations Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including customer, supplier, manufacturing, and lease agreements Oversee licensing management, including contractor and technician licensing and renewals Manage regulatory compliance efforts across multiple jurisdictions, including state, provincial, and local code requirements (e.g., elevator and pool regulations) Lead insurance program management, including general liability, E&O, and cyber coverage Manage litigation and disputes, including coordination with outside counsel Provide guidance on privacy, data security, and incident/breach response Advise on cross-border legal matters involving Canada and Mexico, including employment, customs, and commercial relationships Support mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence and post-acquisition integration Provide legal support to HR on employment-related matters Oversee intellectual property protection and strategyWhat You’ll Bring:Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school Active license and good standing with the Texas Bar Minimum of 5+ years of corporate law experience (in-house or law firm) Strong experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts Demonstrated knowledge of corporate governance and regulatory compliance Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Ability to work independently and collaborate cross-functionallyWhat We Do:Our mission is simple - We provide critical communications services to help people in distress. Our Core Values are even simpler:1.
