This position will be located in Iuka, MS. Job Summary: The Liaison/MRB Engineer will interface with multiple suppliers and stakeholder groups (such as Structural Analysis, Materials & Processing and Manufacturing personnel) in the design center and build facilities. Will be responsible for dispositioning discrepant material tags. Strong communication and collaboration skills are a must. Knowledge of Manufacturing Execution System, MES, and a Northrop Grumman MRB EN signature is a plus. The successful candidate will have experience with designing repairs for discrepant detail parts and assemblies fabricated from composite materials. This requisition may be filled as either a Principal Engineer (level 3) or Senior Principal Engineer (level 4) based on the qualifications below.Basic Qualifications: Principal Engineer: Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline and 5+ years related professional/military experience; OR Master's degree in a STEM discipline with 3+ years of related professional/military experienceSr. Principal Engineer: Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline and 8+ years related professional/military experience; OR Master's degree in a STEM discipline and 6+ years of related professional/military experienceHands-on experience in a composites manufacturing facilityExperience with military specs and standardsExperience with repair processes for composite materials used in aerospace structuresMust be willing and able to work 2nd Shift Hours: 2:30p.m - 12:00a.m ESTMust have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance and Special Access Program (SAP) clearancePreferred Qualifications:Current active Secret clearance or higherDegree in Mechanical or Aeronautical EngineeringCurrent NGAS MRB buyoff authority.
