As a Credit & Collections Coordinator, you'll apply extensive knowledge and advanced skills to solve complex credit and billing issues. You will lead the team in the implementation of credit policies, develop collection strategies, and ensure financial controls are in place. Your expertise will help shape the company's approach to financial risk management
Responsibilities:
Lead credit risk assessments for high-value or complex accounts
Contribute in developing and refining credit policies and procedures
Oversee the management of large-scale collections initiatives
Resolve the most complex billing and credit discrepancies
Generate strategic insights through detailed financial analysis and reporting
Mentor junior associates and provide guidance on best practices
Coordinate with other departments to streamline credit and billing processes
Ensure robust internal controls and adherence to regulatory standards
Lead process improvements to enhance cash flow management
Represent the team in high-level meetings with senior management
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting or equivalent training or experience
3+ years of experience working in Finance/Accounting
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Software, strong MIS skills
Fluency in English and French
SAP FI module would be an advantage
Proactive team player as well as being able to take your own initiate
