Job Description
Work Modality: This position requires to work 3x times a week at office.

The primary role of the Subsystem Validation Engineer is to ensure all areas of validation, requirements and integration have been completed for the assigned programs.
We are looking for a Thermal Subsystem Validation Engineer to work with components such as radiators, powertrain cooling and cabin comfort modules.
A fully qualified individual contributor who has thorough knowledge and understanding of all aspects of the function. Individuals at this level have broad technical knowledge, combined with creative and independent thinking, that allow him to operate with a high level of independent discernment to make decision and coordinate activities and program key deliverables. Performs complex assignments requiring a wider application of principles, theories, and concepts, interacting with suppliers, internal customers and global organization. Not a supervisor but may lead and provide direction to a team of individuals.
Responsibilities:
The individual is responsible to assure the full validation of Thermal Components and Subsystems for several applications, which includes the following key deliverable and activities:
Develop requirements, schedules and approval criteria for validation test programs
Report ADV (Analysis, Development, Validation) status on several Engineering Meetings.
Support organization to have Validation Template (VCRI) updated with Best Practices, Lessons Learned, Test Optimization and field performance feedback;
Support full Vehicle Validation - Type Approval activities.
Lead commodity validation work with internal and external customers and suppliers.
Participate in DRBTR/DFMEA/DFSS work groups.
Analyze test data and resolve anomalies; assess reliability
Stretch communication with GM Validation Specialists for global alignment
Active member of the multi-function core Product Development Team (PDT)
Pursue Hardware reduction opportunities and support the Virtualization Strategy implementation.
Ensure all Certification/Regulation Compliance testing is completed before key program milestones.
Ensure all Customer Requirements are met for every Tire or Wheel validated.
Mandatory requirements:
Graduated in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical preferred).
Strong experience working in engineering related areas
Experience in development & validation or design release in Thermal Components & Subsystems
Fluence in English

Preferred Skills:
Experience in a professional engineering environment working with Thermal Components & Subsystems
Experience with vehicle and bench validation at component or subsystem level
DFSS and Root Cause / Red-X experience
Understanding of design of experiments, accelerated life testing, reliability and methods.
Excellent organizational skills - Able to manage numerous projects across multiple programs.
Quick to learn, results orientated, and willing to work hands-on with GM's vehicles and benches.
High level of written and oral communication skills to work effectively with others – Is able to build relationships and collaborate cross functionally
