We are looking for you to join our team as a Staff Cyber Systems Engineer based out of Fort Gordon, Georgia.
What You’ll get to Do:
Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a senior systems engineer to join our team to lead the design, integration, and sustainment of a wide variety of advanced technologies, including anechoic chambers, hardware‑in‑the‑loop platforms, and emerging AI‑enabled infrastructure. You will work directly with Government partners and industry vendors to deliver secure, high‑performance test and compute environments that support national‑level endeavors.
* During the first 30 days of employment onboarding activities, including Northrop Grumman training requirements, program overviews, system architecture familiarization, and department-specific training, will establish a solid foundation for the new team member. Introductions to management, team leads, and stakeholders will provide insight into team dynamics and identify key areas where the engineer can add value to the mission.
* Days 30 through 90 will further integrate the engineer into daily activities, with a program manager to guide them. Tasks will be assigned at an appropriate pace to ensure the assimilation of process and system architecture.
* Days 90 and onward will consist of mission-guided projects and opportunities for the engineer to collaborate in a cross-functional team environment. From coordinating with stakeholders to testing cutting-edge feature enhancements to the enterprise architecture, engineers can invest in their future while delivering maximum value to our customers’ mission.
This position requires full-time work onsite at our Fort Gordon, Georgia location. No telework is available.
This position requires the applicant to be a U.S. citizen with an active DoD TS/SCI.
Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree with 12 years of experience, OR Master's Degree with 10 years of experience. NOTE: Four (4) years of additional relevant experience can be substituted in lieu of a degree.
* US Citizenship is required.
* Active Top Secret / SCI security clearance to be considered. TS/SCI clearance must be in place by the start date and remain in place throughout employment.
