Why Hover wants you

Every great employee experience starts with strong operations behind the scenes, and that's where the People Operations Manager comes in. You'll serve as the operational backbone for the People Team — the connective tissue between people technology, cross-functional partners, and the employee lifecycle. You'll take ownership of the systems and processes that support every employee from their first day to their last, bringing intention to how we approach our tech stack, automate workflows with AI, and create meaningful moments along the way. You are an employee advocate who cares deeply about the experience you help create, and you'll have real room to grow — from owning today's core operations into specialized people programs like performance, total rewards, or engagement as you build your skillset.

You will contribute by

You'll own the day-to-day mechanics of HR Operations, administering payroll processes in partnership with Finance and managing benefits enrollment and Hover's yearly Open Enrollment. You'll drive onboarding and offboarding from end to end, ensuring every new hire and departure is handled with care and compliance. You'll keep our people systems clean, connected, and working for us — identifying opportunities to automate manual work and using AI tools to move with efficiency. Along the way, you'll take ownership of problems before being asked, and you're not afraid to lead change when a process needs to evolve.
