We’re seeking an HR Business Partner with a logistics or transportation background who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will seamlessly balance strategic leadership coaching with hands-on HR operations, payroll, multi-state compliance, and complex DOT regulations to support our scaling supply chain team. You will As the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic partner to business leaders and stakeholders across Einride Logistics. In this role you will: Employee Relations & HR Support Manage day-to-day employee relations issues, investigations, and conflict resolution.Provides guidance on employee relations, workplace concerns, policy interpretation, and performance matters.Partner with leaders on coaching, corrective action and performance managementSupport onboarding, offboarding, and employee life cycle Compliance & Regulatory Support Ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and company policiesAlign with Finance on state registrations, and manage state portals and filingsMaintain compliance tracking and documentation for audits and reportingMaintain compliance processes in multi-state environmentsManage employee-facing DOT compliance requirements, including driver eligibility, qualifications and adhere to transportation workforce regulations. Business & Organizational Support Partner with leadership on workforce planning, staffing needs, and organizational changes.Identify process improvement opportunities and help implement practical HR solutionsManage and monitor state portals, notices and reporting requirementsTrack and maintain employment-related documentationSupports audits and reporting request as needed HR Operations & Payroll Own and process payroll for hourly and salary employees, ensuring accurate and timely payroll execution.Administer employee benefits programs including open enrollment, changes, terminations, and employee support.Ensure payroll and benefits compliance with company policies, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.Partner with Finance on payroll reporting, audits and reconciliations.Maintain payroll and benefits records and ensure data accuracy in Paylocity. We expect you to: 5-10 years of HRBP (or HR Director) experience including employee relationsExperience in logistics, transportation and operational environments preferredPayroll and Benefits administration experienceExperience in multi-state and/or global environments preferredFamiliarity with DOT regulations and transportation complianceStrong knowledge of employment law and HR complianceExperience supporting a remote, hybrid, or distributed multi-state workforce This is a hybrid remote position based in the Austin, TX.
