Description
Overview: We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer for our growing Salesforce Center of Excellence (COE). The chosen candidate will join a balanced Agile product team of 6-8 talented Salesforce professionals.
As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing inventive, effective Salesforce solutions. As part of the Huntington Salesforce COE, you will work cross-functionally, advancing the needs of your team and the org.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and development of Salesforce features leveraging the full range of Salesforce capabilities (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, etc.)
Collaborate with the product team members to refine requirements, provide technical recommendations, and ensure alignment with business goals
Ensure the quality and security of Salesforce solutions
Mentor developers, providing guidance and support
Integrate Salesforce with other enterprise solutions, using APIs, web services, and partnership with MuleSoft
Participate in Agile iterations and ceremonies, including spring planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
Collaborate with teams to ensure effective version control and stable integration environments
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
4+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development
Strong proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and Salesforce integration techniques
Strong proficiency in Salesforce data integration and REST API development
Experience in Salesforce platform technologies: custom objects, Flow builder, Apex classes and controllers, & SOQL
Experience in an Agile team
Experience with Copado or similar CI/CD pipeline tool
Preferred Skills:
Marketing Cloud experience
Financial services industry experience
Financial Service Cloud
