Job Description
As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Montgomery, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Our unarmed driving patrol officers in a commercial real estate location help monitor assigned areas through routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. - Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, access issues, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to support orderly operations and proper documentation.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require follow-up.
- Monitor entry and exit points, observe visitor and vendor activity, and report suspicious behavior, unsecured doors, and/or property concerns in accordance with site procedures.
- Communicate with property management, tenants, and/or local responders as needed regarding incidents, disturbances, and other security-related matters.
Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
