Senior Manager - Deal Desk and Order to CashJob type: Full Time · Department: Finance · Work type: On-SiteMumbai, Maharashtra, India Job detailsApplication formAbout the Role:In this role you will act as the Finance counterpart to Sales and the CRO office, you will own pricing governance on every non-standard deal and drive end-to-end receivables recovery across our global entities. You'll manage a growing collections portfolio, build CleverTap's deal desk playbook from the ground up, and lead a direct report from day one.What will you do:Strategic Business PartneringPartner with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and Revenue Operations leaders to drive strategic business decisions.Translate financial insights into actionable recommendations that improve business performance.Support annual planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning.Commercial Finance & Deal DeskLead the Deal Desk process by reviewing complex commercial deals, pricing, discount structures, payment terms, and contract profitability.Partner with Sales, Legal, and Revenue Operations to ensure deals align with company policies and financial objectives.Provide financial guidance on large enterprise transactions and strategic customer negotiations.Analyze revenue performance, pipeline conversion, operating expenses, and key SaaS metrics.Revenue & CollectionsPartner with Accounting and Accounts Receivable teams to improve collections, reduce outstanding receivables, and strengthen cash flow.Monitor customer payment trends and recommend actions to improve working capital.Track bookings, billings, ARR, revenue realization, and cash collections.Process ImprovementIdentify opportunities to automate and improve financial reporting and commercial workflows.Partner with Finance Systems and Revenue Operations to optimize quote-to-cash processes.Drive scalable financial controls and governance as the business grows.Order to CashOwn subscription + usage/overage billing accuracy across the billing platform and NetSuiteDrive AR aging reduction and DSO improvement across India/APAC and NAM/EMEA/LATAM books separatelyOwn revenue recognition compliance (Ind AS 115/ASC 606) for subscription and overage revenue streamsManage regional collections escalation, credit hold policy, and dispute resolutionMaintain and evolve the AR movement tracker and regional action-item processCoordinate with Legal on contract terms affecting billing (payment terms, usage caps, renewal timing)Partner with Tax on withholding tax deductions embedded in cross-border collectionsWhat are we looking for?Must Have:4 to 6 years of experience in Commercial Finance, Business Finance, or Strategic Finance.Experience partnering with Deal Desk, Sales Operations, or Revenue Operations teams.Strong understanding of SaaS business models, subscription revenue, ARR, bookings, renewals, and revenue recognition.Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.Good to have: Knowledge of collections, accounts receivable, and working capital management.Familiarity with SaaS metrics including ARR, MRR, NRR, CAC, LTV, pipeline conversion, and gross margin.Who will you report to: Associate Director - FinanceWhy join usContribute to a product backed by 11 technology patents, showcasing industry-leading innovation.You are passionate about technology and its impact on the high-growth mobile technology spacePower personalized engagement at scale, processing over 30 billion events daily and reaching 3+ billion devices worldwide.Flourish in an Environment that Nurtures Growth and CuriosityLearn MoreGet to know us better before you apply!Check out our product documentation, engineering blog, and customer stories to see how we work and what we value.CleverAI™CleverTap Developer DocumentationBlogsTesseractDB™CleverTap Product DemoAbout CleverTap:CleverTap is the world’s leading AI-first, all-in-one customer engagement and retention platform, redefining...
