Role Responsibilities 

We’re seeking a future team member for the role ofVice President, Sustainability Regulatory Strategy and Executionto join our Sustainability Hub. This role is located in Brussels. 

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: 

  • You will serve as a senior partner across Corporate Functions, driving high-quality, decision-useful disclosures, strengthening reporting readiness and controls, and influencing strategic responses to a rapidly changing regulatory environment.
  • Lead EMEA regulatory execution and governance strategy for sustainability and climate-related requirements, with emphasis onEU regulatory implementation, disclosure readiness, and execution across legal entities and regional stakeholders
  • Serve as a senior subject matter expert and strategic advisor on key EMEA regulatory developments, includingEU Taxonomy, CRR3, CRD VI, and Pillar 3 reporting requirements, while maintaining alignment with broader enterprise sustainability and disclosure objectives
  • Drive delivery of priority regulatory workstreams from interpretation and impact assessment through governance design, implementation planning, disclosure readiness, and the enhancement of governance, controls, documentation, and accountability frameworks to support effective oversight, traceability, and assurance-ready execution across EMEA
  • Influence senior stakeholders across Sustainability, Risk, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Investor Relations, regional business leadership, and entity-level teams to align on priorities, resolve complex issues, embed regulatory expectations into operating processes and governance routines, and advance coordinated regulatory responses while balancing local requirements with enterprise consistency
  • Oversee the development of disclosures and supporting materials across governance, strategy, risk management, metrics, targets, and regulatory reporting, ensuring consistency with IFRS S1, IFRS S2, and TCFD where appropriate, and provide credible challenge and sound judgment on regulatory interpretation, implementation decisions, and execution risks
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen reporting quality, data integrity, and execution efficiency through process improvement, automation, and responsible use of AI-enabled tools, while contributing to a strong culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the Sustainability Hub and across partner teams

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

  • 6+ years of experience in sustainability, finance, accounting, economics, public policy, law, or a related field; bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
  • Significant background in sustainability reporting, prudential or regulatory reporting, climate risk, regulatory execution, corporate disclosure, ESG governance, financial reporting, or a related discipline, ideally within financial services
  • Strong knowledge of EMEA sustainability and prudential regulatory requirements, including EU Taxonomy, CRR3, CRD VI, and Pillar 3 reporting, as well as familiarity with global reporting and disclosure frameworks such as IFRS S1, IFRS S2, and TCFD
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives with executive presence, sound judgment, and a high degree of ownership, while influencing senior stakeholders, establishing effective governance, and translating technical requirements into actionable implementation and reporting plans
  • Excellent writing, analytical, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a highly matrixed environment
  • Experience strengthening controls, documentation, and assurance-ready processes; familiarity with sustainability data, digital tools, and automation is preferred
