About Auror

At Auror, we’re empowering the retail industry to tackle theft and Organised Retail Crime, a $150 Billion problem globally. It’s high volume crime that’s increasingly organised in nature and is putting people, retailers, and communities at risk every day.

Founded in New Zealand 12 years ago, we’re working with some of the best and largest retailers in the world across the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the UK. Auror is connecting people and intelligence to reduce crime. We’re using technology for good.

Our mission is clear: reduce violent retail crime by 50% in 5 years. It's an ambitious goal - and one we believe is achievable. In partnership with our leading retail partners, we need people with the passion, determination, and innovation required to overcome one of the world's largest problems. If you’re looking to make a difference with and for the people dedicated to stopping crime, for good, then we want you on our team.

We're also embracing the potential of AI to supercharge our impact - whether that's enhancing the way we detect trends, support our customers, or improve internal workflows. As a company, we're committed to responsibly incorporating AI into how we work and what we build, and we encourage all Aurors to be curious about how AI can elevate their work, regardless of role or function.

The Role

As our Marketing Specialist, you'll own the execution of marketing activity across Australia and New Zealand with a strong focus on events and tradeshows, alongside generalist campaign and brand responsibilities. You'll work closely with the Senior Manager, ANZ Marketing and collaborate with global marketing, sales, and customer success teams to bring Auror's story to market and drive real commercial impact across the region.

This is a hands-on role where you'll coordinate end-to-end event logistics, support campaign delivery, manage vendors, and contribute to pipeline and partner engagement goals. You'll bring structure, energy, and attention to detail to a fast-moving regional team where your work is highly visible and directly connected to business outcomes.

This is a hybrid role based from our Melbourne office, with an in-office expectation of 2-3 days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end coordination and delivery of the ANZ event and tradeshow calendar, including conferences, owned events, and brand activations.

  • Lead pre-event kick-offs to align stakeholders on goals, roles, and project requirements.

  • Collaborate across marketing design, content, product marketing, demand gen, and the ANZ customer teams on pre-show, in-show, and post-show event campaigns.

  • Support the ANZ sales and customer success teams to deliver event enablement and activities that engage current and prospective retail and law enforcement partners.

  • Coordinate post-event deliverables including retrospectives, ROI tracking, and continuous improvement actions.

  • Manage the end-to-end production and distribution of swag, ensuring quality, on-brand output, and timely delivery.

  • Manage and coordinate external vendors including printers, booth providers, and swag suppliers.

  • Support integrated campaign execution across digital and regional marketing activities in ANZ.

  • Assist in developing and executing targeted campaigns to drive pipeline creation and movement across key verticals.

  • Contribute to regional marketing communications including newsletters, social content, and customer-facing materials.

  • Apply AI tools and automation to improve marketing workflows, content production, and reporting efficiency.

  • Track and report on the effectiveness of marketing activities, providing data-backed insights and recommendations for improvement.

  • Work within workflow tools including Monday.com, Notion, Slack, and HubSpot to maintain visibility and momentum across all projects.

This role reports to Claire Ross, Senior Manager, ANZ Marketing.

Claire leads marketing across Australia and New Zealand. With over four years at Auror and a background in financial services corporate marketing, Claire brings a commercially focused, systems-oriented approach to regional marketing, connecting brand, events, and campaigns directly to pipeline outcomes. She works closely with ANZ sales, customer success, and global marketing teams, and reports directly to the CMO. Claire is passionate about building high-impact regional programs and developing the people around her.

Claire and her family moved to Melbourne a few years ago and enjoy exploring a fun and busy city.

Requirements

You'll thrive in this role if you:

  • Have 3-5 years of marketing experience, ideally in B2B or SaaS environments, supporting a sales-led motion to enterprise accounts.

  • Have strong project management and coordination skills - you can bring structure to fast-moving projects.

  • Have experience supporting or coordinating multi-channel campaigns or in-person events that drive pipeline growth and demand generation.

  • Personal growth: We support our team to participate in courses, conferences, or events that will help them develop their skills.

  • Team love: We have regular team lunches and social events where most (if not all) activities are during work hours.
