Bright is a data-driven, fast-paced execution culture that will build a Global Consumer FinTech, all functions operating from India.What is the team  & role about?Bright Money is looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accounts Executive to join our Finance team. The role is responsible for day-to-day accounting operations across our India and US entities, ensuring books are accurate, reconciliations are timely, and statutory filings are filed without slippage.What you will do?Review and maintain day-to-day books of accounts in Tally and QuickBooks; supervise routine operational activities and resolve issues.Own monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory filings in India and the US (GST, TDS, PT, PF, ESI, sales tax, etc.) within prescribed timelines.Perform analytical reviews of financial documentation; produce statements for management on accounting status and discrepancies.Conduct record reviews and assessments to verify financial documentation; produce financial statement reports and document audit processes and balances.Identify accounting issues, reconcile accounts, and propose solutions.Prepare monthly bank reconciliations, vendor reconciliations, and inter-company transactions.Review all inter-company transactions and generate invoices as necessary.Reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure clean schedules each close.Manage MIS reporting and share details with the Senior Manager – Finance on a regular basis.Support internal, statutory, and tax auditors with required schedules, evidence, and explanations.Ideal candidate profile looks like?Experience & Background:Minimum 3-5 years of experienceHands-on experience with Tally and QuickBooks (independent working experience in QuickBooks is mandatory)Working knowledge of Indian GAAP / Ind ASStrong understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance in IndiaAdvanced Excel skills (pivots, lookups, reconciliation models)Review and maintain day-to-day books of accounts in Tally and QuickBooksPerform analytical reviews of financial documentationConduct record reviews and assessments to verify financial documentationIdentify accounting issues, reconcile accounts, and propose solutionsPrepare monthly bank reconciliations, vendor reconciliations, and inter-company transactionsManage MIS reportingSupport internal, statutory, and tax auditorsHigh attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and sound independent judgementAbility to prioritize, manage time well, stay organized, and adjust focus as needs changeGood communication and negotiation...
