Labcorp is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to join our team in Geneva, Switzerland.
Working hours between 7AM and 5PM CET
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure the reception of materials; control the goods (quantity, lot number, expiration date, obsolete, damaged, etc.) and compliance with specifications
- Check the delivery against the Packing Slip and control it against the related Purchase order
- Register all required information in the PeopleSoft database on a daily basis, including lot number, expiration date, quantity
- Ensure that received materials are distributed promptly to the appropriate storage area or department
- Store received materials in the appropriate warehouse location in accordance with storage requirements and internal procedures
- Maintain required stock levels and communicate replenishment needs or stock issues to relevant stakeholders to support continuity of operations
- Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy working environment in accordance with Labcorp rules and standard operating procedures
- Optimize the use of warehouse space and maintain an orderly storage layout
- Prepare and deliver the orders placed by the internal departments (MSR) accurately and within required timelines
- Support shipment and shipping operations, including packing orders, labels, and coordinating dispatch through approved shipping procedures and carriers
- Participate in scheduled cycle counts and full physical inventory activities to maintain inventory accuracy
- Investigate and report stock discrepancies, damaged goods, or shipment issues in a timely manner and support corrective actions when needed
- Interact effectively with Procurement, laboratories, and other internal stakeholders to support an efficient supply chain
- Follow applicable standard operating procedures, work instructions, and Labcorp policies at all times
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to warehouse organization, inventory control, shipment processes, and service levels
- Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of warehouse and supply chain support activities.
Minimum Qualifications:
- CFC Magasinier/Magasinière
- 2 or more years’ experience in warehousing or supply chain activities
- 2 or more years of experience with inventory management systems like PeopleSoft
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 or more years of experience in Central Lab Services
- 1 or more years of experience with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, CAPA, RCA)
- 2 or more years of experience in shipment coordination, shipping documentation, or goods dispatch
Additional Job Standards:
- Good understanding and knowledge of English and French is necessary
- Strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel)
- Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for interaction with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and carriers
- Strong Analytical mindset with the ability to monitor stock accuracy, identify issues, and support process optimization initiatives
- Ability to follow procedures and maintain accurate records in a regulated or controlled environment
- Some overtime may be required
In the role as Warehouse Assistant you receive, store and distribute purchased supplies and materials. You daily register all transactions in PeopleSoft P&I (in/out) and monitor the inventory levels and support inventory accuracy through routine controls and verification.
You fill internal orders (MSR) and deliver supplies to laboratories and other internal stakeholders in a timely manner. You support shipment and shipping activities, including packing, labeling, dispatch and coordination with approved carriers.
