What You'll Do 

The Clinical Educator will assist with the design, build, and implementation of new hire orientation and clinical training programs within Strive Health to ensure the successful onboarding and continuous training of clinical teams. Clinical teams consist of nurse practitioners, registered nurses, registered dietitians, medical assistants, care coordinators, social workers, pharmacists, and others. The education and training will reflect evidence-based clinical practice guidelines and adult learning theory. This role will support all markets nationwide, which may include corporate personnel and will report to the Sr. Manager, Clinical Informatics & Education. 

The Day to Day 

  • Delivers education and training to individuals, small groups, and large groups promoting a positive and effective learning experience.
  •  Develops education and training programs that are interactive, utilizing multimedia resources, to include video recordings, e-learnings, and live presentations. 
  • Works collaboratively in building and delivering clinical programs that meet the organization's needs.
  •  Conducts workflow analysis and identifies opportunities for improvement in the education and learning process. 
  •  Implements strategies to improve clinical excellence and operational efficiencies.
  •  Serves as the subject matter expert on clinical concepts and technical applications such as the electronic health record and platforms utilized for provision of care, care coordination, and reporting. 
  • Effectively communicates new enhancements of technical applications, new and/or revised programs, and develops education resources to support end user learning.
  •  Develops 1:1 training plans with SMART goals and action plans to measure expected learning outcomes. 
  • Builds trust and rapport with clinical teams and leaders to support the provision of high-quality care in an efficient and productive manner.
  •  Meet in person with internal and/or external stakeholders to facilitate team and business priorities/opportunities. Business travel may be required for opportunities to connect with stakeholders, serve patients, and attend Strive-sponsored team events. 
  •  Serve patients in person and in multiple care settings (e.g., patient home, clinics) in addition to virtual visits.
  • Provides in-person patient care which may include standing, sitting, walking, pushing, pulling, and lifting.

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing, education, or healthcare administration.
  •  4+years' experience of curriculum development and education experience in a clinical setting. 
  • Internet Connectivity - Min Speeds: 3.8Mbps/3.0Mbps (up/down): Latency <60ms.
  • Efficient and reliable transportation, including an active driver's license, allowing for travel across an assigned region to meet patient needs. Locations may include offices, clinics, and patient homes.

Preferred Qualifications 

  • 5+ years' experience in a clinical role.
  • 2+ years' experience as a field preceptor of students and/or new clinical hires.
  • 2+ years' experience in Nephrology/dialysis.
  • 2+ years' experience in case management.
  •  Strong knowledge of Advanced MD(or other EHR), Salesforce/HealthCloud (or other care management platform). 
  •  Advanced computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. 

Annual Salary Range: $85,500 - $104,000

Final compensation will be determined based on location, experience, and qualifications.
