Circle K Business Centre in Riga, Latvia is looking for a new team player to join our team as:
French speaking Accountant in Store Accounting Team
(for Belgium business unit)
Type of Employment: Permanent
Location: Riga, Latvia
Visa requirements: A valid work permit from the EU/EEA
(relocation assistance is not provided)
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Process debit and credit notes, perform weekly and monthly accounting activities related to dealer sites;
- Clear daily transactions and promptly address any errors in collaboration with colleagues based in Belgium;
- Respond to queries from site managers, business unit representatives and external partners as needed;
- Review, prepare and process journal entries based on information received from business unit and other partners;
- Provide support by answering questions from other company departments regarding processed financial records;
- Execute month-end closing procedures, identifying and resolving discrepancies or errors;
- Actively contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Experience within accounting for at least 1-2 years;
- Fluent in English (both verbal and written, to communicate successfully with colleagues abroad);
- Fluent in French (both verbal and written, at least C1 level);
- Experience with ERP (SAP, JDE experience will be considered as an advantage);
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills;
- Precise, analytical, organized, solution oriented and stress resistant personality;
- Self-motivated, positive, good team player.
