JOB SUMMARY
ONEOK is seeking a Senior I&E Technician to support our Natural Gas Liquids segment in Windom, Kansas. This role will perform specialized installation, troubleshooting, calibration, maintenance, and repair of electrical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, analyzer, measurement, control, automation, and related systems that support safe and reliable operations across the assigned coverage area.
The Senior I&E Technician will be responsible for maintaining and supporting equipment such as instrumentation, flow computers, SCADA and remote terminal units, DCS, PLC systems, ESD systems, analyzers, electrical power circuits, switchgear, and power distribution equipment. The ideal candidate will bring strong instrumentation and electrical experience, with pipeline instrumentation and electrical experience preferred. Experience with PLCs and control systems is a strong plus.
This position requires a self-starter with strong attention to detail who can take ownership of an assigned area, proactively identify projects, and manage and maintain the assets within that area. The successful candidate will partner closely with operations and maintenance teams, support field needs, maintain accurate records and reports, and respond appropriately to operational, safety, environmental, and DOT-related requirements.
This role is based on-site in Windom, Kansas, with a typical Monday through Friday schedule of eight-hour days and an expected on-call rotation of approximately one week out of every five weeks. Candidates located near Windom are preferred, though coverage areas may be evaluated based on the candidate. Travel within the assigned coverage area is expected, with occasional overnight travel to support other areas as business needs require. This position may be considered at the Associate or Intermediate level based on experience.

- Install, operate, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate/adjust, and maintain the following equipment including, but not limited to:
- Calorimeters

- Chromatographs
- Telemetering systems

- PH and conductivity probes
- Instrumentation
- Meter tubes and orifice plates

- Programmable Logic Control (PLC) systems
- Perform preventative maintenance and/or analytical testing on compressors/engines, drivers, and auxiliary equipment
- Maintain electrical power circuits, switch gear, and power distribution including high voltage
- Perform and /or observe measurement equipment witness tests
- Install and maintain security/intrusion systems
- Drive and ensure maintenance is complete on company vehicles
- Maintain, calculate and prepare reports and records including, but not limited to:
- Maintenance and repair records

- Responsibilities may include Department of Transportation (DOT) covered functions, including operations, maintenance, or emergency response on a pipeline. Job duties also require the employee to be alert and respond immediately to dangerous or hazardous conditions, and where impaired performance, or failure to follow safety precautions, could result in serious injury or property damage.

Expected Salary Range
$87,000.00 - $131,000.00
