About the Role
As a Community Life Aide, you'll help create meaningful experiences that enrich the lives of our residents. Working closely with the Community Life Director and team, you will:
Assist with planning, organizing, and leading recreational, social, educational, spiritual, and wellness programs.
Build meaningful relationships with residents and families to learn about their interests, life experiences, and personal goals.
Encourage socialization, lifelong learning, physical activity, and community engagement.
Support special events, activities, and outings that promote resident well-being and quality of life.
Observe resident participation, mood, and engagement, documenting progress and sharing feedback with the care team.
Help create a warm, welcoming environment where residents can thrive.
What We're Looking For
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience working with seniors or in a long-term care setting is a plus.
Chauffeur's license preferred; willingness to obtain one may be required.
Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a genuine passion for serving older adults.
